Exactly! We are hopefully planning a Cedar Point trip next May. We had to cancel a flight for the end of the month but can't get a refund so many use that credit for that trip!
We're hoping for a Cedar Point trip next year, too, since we didn't make it out there this year. Probably won't be May, though; mid-to-late June at the earliest.
How is June usually at CP with crowds if you've been there before? We were thinking May because it might not be as busy but could really do it at any point before August.
I noticed that on weekdays after around 3pm it gets awesome in there and almost dies out. The one time I was there I kept riding Demon Drop at least 20 times in a row because there were no lines. Millennium Force was only about a 20 min wait as opposed to the 7 hour wait since it was the year it opened.
I've seen it packed even when there was on and off torrential downpour. Usually just the threat of rain decreases the crowds at Six Flags. Q is expecting me to buy her a flash pass if the lines at CP are too long next time we're there.
EDIT: I talked with Q, who went there a lot before I forced her to move out here with me. She said that there's never really a time when it isn't busy. As long as you're in the area, you might want to consider getting two-day passes (she says they're only about $10 more than a single day pass).

And that would be you. You really need to get out here someday.

Make sure you let me know ahead of time when you'll be there, in case we're in Ohio around the same time.
