When I saw the trailer for Jack and Jill (below), right after hearing that some more exciting projects (like Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of HP Lovecraft’s At the Mountains of Madness) had been cancelled, I could only ask “Why does Hollywood hate us?”

Well, I’ve just heard about a couple of new projects that they have in the works: a Blues Brothers TV series, described as ”Route 66 meets Glee”; and a reboot of one of
Q’s favorite classic film series, The Thin Man, with “Johnny Depp to headline”. Someone really needs to nuke Hollywood from orbit … just to be sure.
