For Daphne

All class Terry had been extremely distracted. He had Daphne Greengrass to blame. Who did she think she was, just sitting there, minding her own business? I mean, seriously, what's a sane boy to do but fantasize?!

It wasn't until Professor Flitwick started assigning the full three feet of parchment that Terry snapped back into focus (a rather strange phenomenon for him). Quickly jotting down some notes, he hurried out of the door towards his dorm, scolding himself for getting so distracted. He was about three hallways away when he remembered that he had the crystals in his pocket! He'd been working endlessly on them all week, researching their function in the library so he could fix them. He'd gotten a little bit of help from some older Ravenclaws and a Professor or two, but the little figurines were finally fixed, and seemed to have their original magical functions still in tact. He was quite pleased with himself.

Rushing back towards the classroom in hopes of spotting Daphne, he was surprised to see her still outside of Charms, speaking to a boy in his house. An instant pang of jealousy hit him as he watched the two interact. It seemed like she was whispering to him... it looked almost... intimate.
