needed a place to save all these cute new-feeds from fb today so here it is! you know, i had no idea that many people used facebook.. like i thought it was just between all the major universities but apparently all high schools and now the general public has access.. that totally sucks.. because what i liked about facebook was that it was exclusive, like it wasnt like xanga or myspace or anything and that it was just people you actually knew through school, which was cool.
anyway, so i had brunch with my family today.. it was good since i havent seen my brother in forever and wanted to see how he was doing in school.. after that i watched Running with Scissors since i had read that book awhile ago and had been wanting to watch it forever since all these amazing people are in it. i have to say though.. it wasnt as great as i had imagined... i mean, of course it wasnt as good as the book but especially b/c they werent able to capture augusten borough's wittiness and charm. it was just like a crazy movie with people flipping out and random shit happeneing in every scene. however, Evan Rachel Wood is SOOO HOT and she was the 1 thing i enjoyed about this movie. oh and Agnes, shes my favorite character from Running with Scissors and i love how they reflected the way i felt about her in the book. one change they made really bothered me... in the book, Natalie's dream was to go to Smith.. but in the movie for some reason, they made her want to go to Vassar!!?? i mean, one of my best friends went to Vassar but that change was just weirdly unjustified. I didnt like the actor that played Augusten.. he looks like the hobbit from Lost and tahts just less than flattering. oh and everytime i saw Neil Bookman, i thought of "the dark lord" hahahha.. b/c it was played by Joe Fiennes aka Ralph "Voldemort" Fiennes' brother. but overall, it wasnt too bad. I liked the ending very much.. now off to relax.. maybe some reading or Thank You for Smoking later~
