Five Song Friday
1) TiK ToK // Ke$ha - This song is a prime example of EVERYTHING WRONG with popular music today... And I can't stop listening to it. *hangs head in shame*
2) Sort Of // Ingrid Michaelson - Every song of Ingrid's I can't seem to not want to rec. Especially when they hit me lyrically like this one does. I doubt many cannot connect with a message of being in a relationship that you know isn't working but not having the strength to end it.
3) Whataya Want from Me // Adam Lambert - I haven't watched Idol in years so I'm at a loss to the Adam Lambert hoopla - I just know I like this song.
4) Black And Gold // Katy Perry - I've only heard the 30 sec sample of the original of this (sung by Sam Sparro) on iTunes so I'm not really sure how Katy's cover holds up but I think it's pretty damn good all on it's own.
5) My Wicked Way // Ben Taylor - A sweet and funny song about getting some. This is totally a fitting song since next week Porn Battle prompts start! :D
