Five Song Friday
1) Starstrukk // 3oh!3 (feat.Katy Perry) - I'm in major like with this, this week. It's got an awesome little whistle beat in it that just makes me wanna shake my ass in time to it.
2) In The Room Where You Sleep // Dead Man's Bones (live version) - This is so weird I just had to post it. This is Ryan Gosling's (the dude from The Notebook movie) new musical side project. It's a really odd mix of disney's haunted mansion, 60's girl group/doo wop and a children's choir. Like I said weird, but even weirder is that it works. I predict this'll be very popular halloween music when the album drops this Oct. Check out their the myspace page for more info.
3) Show Me What I'm Looking For // Carolina Liar - I'm a sucker for any song with a good choir arrangement.
4) I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) // Pitbull - Outside the counting, I have no clue what he's saying in this song, (sad after 5 years of spanish) but that's ok cause it's got a danceable beat. :)
5) Decatur, Or, Round Of Applause For Your Stepmother! // Sufjan Stevens - I'm ashamed how little Sufjan I have on here. This is a quirky little folk tune that I'm sure you'll love as much as I do. (It references Lincoln/Douglas debates!)
