Law of Attraction DOES work!
So I needed to run a pilot of the Hebrew part of my mA thesis. (It is an experiment for Hebrew and Russian languages.) So I ran it once with my friend on Friday and scheduled with another girl today. After I finished with her, I went off determined to find two more participants. (I think that participants is the politically nice word for subjects, lol). At first I wanted to grab two random people and offer them monetary compensation, then I thought of waiting and seeing whether other people I know will show up, eventually I firmly told myself that I choose to find two more people for the experiment today! And I decided to go to the computer lab to print articles in the meanwhile (until I figure out what to do next). And then I enter the computer lab and who do I see? One person from the course I taking and another linguistics student I know. So I was like: haha, universe works! And would you please assist me with my experiment? They were very nice so they did.
