Haven't done one of these in a while...

...so let's shake it up and have some fun.

As a whole, I would say things have been going pretty well, with some setbacks which quickly need to be overcome. Conrad turned 4 a few weeks ago, and had a pirate-themed birthday party, which was pretty awesome. He's getting more awesome everyday, but also more whiny- though he is very excited for the return of American Gladiators, which along with G4's Ninja Warrior have become his 2 favorite non-PBS shows on television.

Katy has left the Cocoa Bean, which has been under some turmoil since one of the owners left the business. She's been having less and less fun (something I could totally relate to before I started working at Target- the job before that completely drained my will of anything). She'll now be working in Naperville at a place called Mason Sabika, where she'll actually be creating (from scratch) special desserts. She's not too keen on the commute, but I get the feeling that she's really going to enjoy these new challenges.

As for me, work is going well enough. I have a new boss, and he really seems to like me. My ipod's hard drive is apparently beyond repair, but Best Buy still said they have to send it out before my warranty can issue me a new one.

As for the comedy, it's been going real well. I played a show at Zanies in Chicago,  which was a really big deal and went over very well:

I wish my dad would've been there, but he was in China. I've been working on a stand-up comedy/sketch comedy/musical imrpov/film project that is currently looking for a Chicago theater to call home. I've been teaming up with my friend Adam Guerino, and we're both making a show I'm really excited about. More details on that to come.

For those of you over 21, I'm in Aurora on Wednesday. For anyone, I'll be back at The Edge Comedy Club this Thursday, so come out and see me. My performance is going to be taped, so a friendly audience would be nice.

I hope everyone is doing well.
