oh what a night...

back a day early...
mackinaw was ridiculously amazing, AND I GOT A JOB (hopefully)!!!

keith is coming over. he wants to see pirates 3. little does he know, that i saw pirates 3 with the family last night at houghton lake, and let me tell you how i felt about it: i thought it sucked. in fact, i was so pissed off when i left the theatre, i was red in the face and shakey.

1.) character progression and transition for the 2 females and norrington where absolutely awful and out of character.
2.) any movie that requires an hour discussion afterwards just trying to figure out what the hell happened doesnt place a high ranking in my book.
3.) the favoritism of the antagonist characters...if one is going to die nobley, so should the other. that REALLY pissed me off.
4.) the fact that the plot recycled itself not once, BUT TWICE.
5.) i got bored with it quickly (after a certain scene between knightly and bloom, i was bidding that theatre fucking adou in my mind). it never seemed to end!

i also think i pissed off a whole crowd of people around me when i said a little too loudly after one of the scenes where a major character dies, "thank god!!!" what is so special about him anyways?

however, special effects where amazing, and so was the music. i am all over that soundtrack like no one's business. oh, and there was plenty of bill to go around. i love that man.

why is it all my favorite characters die?

so, i must really like him A LOT to sit through that again. but i cant wait to see him. i bought him a t-shirt and his parents fudge. go me for being a good girlfriend.

anyways, mackinaw. we stayed at the grand. i was never jonesing for a hamburger and french fries like that before in my entire life. they push your chair in, put the napkin on your lap, everything is 5 courses, you have to dress up...the service was absolutely amazing. id give all of the staff there a hug if i could. i even got my bed turned down for the night with a mint on my pillow! rock on, guys, rock on.

we rented our own carriage and horse for an hour. my sister wanted to drive it, so we were in the front and my parents sat in the back. we ended up with henry...now, every time the name "henry" is said in this house, it is followed by the sentence "what a douche bag..." and he knew it, too. freaking hilarious being in between cemetaries and he decides to quit listening to stacy and have lunch...just stop right there in the middle of everything. i laughed until i cried when she was yelling at him and he turned around to look at her with a mouthful of grass and this exact expression: bitch, please.

among other great adventures, it was amazing. i shall post pictures (even our old time photo) when i get a chance.
