Craft List
Continuing from my previous post, here is a general list of craft and sewing projects for 2016 in order to help keep me focused.
For the Spring:
I need to work on some Scara-related stuff.
* New scara tunic out of blue and grey fabric
* Acquire chain mail shirt
* Sew a fabric phrygian cap
* Make a belt pouch?
* Make some 6-panel chests
For the Summer:
I need to make some Pennsic and SCA-related stuff
* Finally make a set of plastic body armour out of 3/16 ABS
* Make some Roman clothing for the SCA and Pennsic, 3rd century stuff onward (incuding finishing pugio, making a civilian as well as a military ring belt)
* Make some Celtic fighting clothes (over tunic, etc)
* Pad Roman and Celtic fighting helmets
For the Fall:
I need to make more items for a 17th century ensemble. Incuding...
* Rework Elizabethan tall hat into Restoration-style hat
* Coat/doublet thing. Quintfall hill?
* Shoes. Make latchet shoes or use civil-war brogans?
* Acquire sword or matchlock?
For the Winter:
* I want to build a complete late Hallstatt/early La Tene Celtic warrior ensemble based on the Hallstatt Scabbard as well as some of the statues from the period. This will consist of a quilted and studded leather vest, a basket-woven helmet, an oval shield, striped, tight-fitting trousers. This is for VJCL.
