So, hypothetically. Suppose someone kind of wants to ask someone else to prom, but they don't know if that someone else is even really interested in them or not. What would be the best course of action in a situation like that?

Um... well... has anyone else asked them? If they don't have a date yet... maybe you could just... suggest going together so they won't have to go alone?

I actually have no idea. That might not be a bad idea.

I... um, I know it's kind of scary to just ask those kinds of things out of the blue, so maybe easing into it like that will be easier. Who knows... maybe they've actually been waiting for you to ask, right?

Ah... Well, I suppose that could be a possibility.

Think positive, okay? I'm sure things will work out, and you'll end up having a lot of fun at prom.

It's easy once you get started! Just try and imagine you asking, and that person smiling really, really big and saying yes!

Sure, guess it couldn't hurt.

Wait and see... if you expect things to go well, then a lot of times, they have a funny way of doing just that. I bet your friend's already reading this post and getting excited!

[To be fair, Lucas is so computer-illiterate he wouldn't be able to tell if it was or not anyway]

O-oh... is that... not a good thing?

Maybe I can throw her computer out a window before she sees it.

[he is precious]

[look who's talking mr. throw her computer out]

I-I don't think she'd go to prom with you if you threw her computer out a window!

[This isn't precious, this is pure idiocy]

You're right. That would be counter productive.

[No, it's... idiocious. Preciocy. Something like that.]

Maybe... maybe she'll think you asking about it like this is cute? Some girls like it when a boy is shy, don't they?

[I dig it]

I have no idea. I know nothing about women. At all.
