"I Get PAID To Do This"
thats what i feel like lately.
i have spent waay to much time at work. and will continue to do so until next week. i havent had a day off in a week. and wont get one until next tuesday. but thats okay...i get paid for it..right? but there are sometimes where the people i work with drive me nuts. theyre all cool people, dont get me wrong..but they dont listen. especially to me. when theres no acting authoritative figure around..im it. i shouldnt be, but since the management at trackside is...FAR from anything to be proud of..i have to take charge because im the only one who knows the job well enough to run it on my own. and i think alot of the banquet people (or the temps that they get for that night) have trouble being told what to do by a friend (or at least i think thats how they see me) and a FEMALE that happens to be younger than all of them. i am the youngest employee there. and i have run WEDDINGS on my own! i dont care if someone makes fun of me now and then, i can take jokes and laugh at myself, but calling me lazy and worthless and whatever other insults they can think of (even joking around) all the time is just ridiculous. they dont get anything done that i ask. and if i dont nag at them and tell them continuosly, it doesnt get done. id have to do it all myself. and i cant do that! theres to much. theyre getting paid to do it too! OMG i sound like my mom. but yes. i feel better now.
anyways. i cant wait to move into the dorms.Ü ill be at work less. maybe be able to concentrate on school loooots more. ill be in the city close to kristin and namu and krista. i got my iPod fixed. they gave me a brand new one. that was saweet. i havent started xmas shopping yet...i think im only going to buy for my mom, dad, and the little ones this year. i cant really afford to spend on the buds : (..gotta save for jan...im gonna need some cash. damn. im sick again..bronchitis. and another sinus infection. what the hell? oh well. more med..ive got some cough sryup with codiene in it...any takers? i charge by the teaspoon...haha juuust messin...i had something else to say but i cant remember what it is...oh well.
