[here, have a julian who's so absorbed reading the last book of the twilight trilogy saga and doesn't notice that he's about to bump into someone :Db]

[Jun looks up from his book in time to see Julian, but not soon enough to get out of the way.] Ah! [loses balance, goes thump on the ground. Awesome. The poor books. :/]

[whoops! and there he goes, now falling flat on his face and making a bigger mess]

C-crap.

[ow his hand hurts, he probably scraped it across the ground or something. He pushes himself up, slowly.] Ahhh...are you alright?

[somehow manages to unplaster his face off the concrete and look at jun with a thumbs-up]

N-never been better!

Ah. Good. [picks up Julian's book with his uninjured hand to hold it out to him...and then sees the title and very gingerly holds it. Like it's poison or something.]

[oblivious julian is oblivious! tries to pick himself up, and winces at the books he somehow squashed landed on]

A-ah, are you fine over there?

Yes, I am. [poor books. :/]

[what, they're essential]

[looks down at the mess, and then back to jun]

[carefully begins gathering up the books with his good hand. Oh, his other hand's bleeding, must have scraped it a little harder then he thought.] Ah, here. [attempts to hold out Julian's evil book to him.]

Thanks? Even if I did ran into you--

[notices that jun is getting his books and oh look, he really did get hurt. scrambles to get up and grabs the books jun's holding]

H-hey! You're not supposed to be doing that! I'm supposed to do it!

[missingflower]

[...eh?]

[politely] Thank you, but why? [just watches him, though. Without thinking, he lifts his other hand and licks the blood away.]

[he's a foreigner, ok >:]

Because I bumped into you? That's common courtesy!

[does a double take at jun licking his hand, and almost drops the books]

That can get infected, you know.

Ahh.

[just blinks at him, same vague and sweet smile on his face. It's..kind of creepy, really.]

I'll take care of it when I get home.

[tilts his head birdlike to peer at Julian. Very quietly and politely, his expression doesn't change.] Ah, may I please have my books back?
