One Crow's Feather, One Comforted Child
My daughter Betsy is a very psychic girl and has been called by Odhinn at a very early age. She had a dream at age 9 that Odhinn told her "do not be afraid of me." Ever since then, she has found crow feathers. Everywhere. In the back yard. On her many walks outside. Lately she's been going on Ghostwalks with her friends.
I think she is with a friend who is an amplifier-one who makes her encounters with ghosts even more intense. Anyway, she and her friends went to an abandoned farmhouse. She went inside, it was creepy. It had been partially burnt down. But there was enough of the house that she could explore.
There were newspapers in the attic that were from Franklin D. Roosevelt's era. She felt very afraid. There were footsteps echoing in the house. Unseen eyes burning through her.
The she went into the bathroom. She found a single crow's feather. No other evidence that a crow had been there. (No windows, no poop). Then they went outside and she saw a full formed figure, glowing florescent, figure, but she had the crow's feather and though they scattered when they saw it, my daughter was unafraid. She held onto the feather. And brought it home. She says she felt his presence. And his comfort.
