So, I found a...uh, lumber tree. It's kind of small, so there's not enough on it to make anything big, but...I was thinking since it seems like we'll be living here for a while, I'd make an altar for my family. Doesn't seem quite right to keep living here for who knows how long without paying my respects to the people who raised me...
Is anyone else interested in having that kind of thing? I don't know if foreigners keep these kinds of things around, but I know a lot of us are from Japan, so I figured I'd offer to help... [he shuffles slightly, not entirely comfortable in front of the camera, then smiles] So, let me know! I'll probably be out in the woods a lot at least until the one for my tent is finished.
Ah, and I guess O-Bon should be coming up pretty soon if we're keeping track of the days right...I think we should have a festival, even if there aren't that many of us around. Just because we're in Sieben doesn't mean we shouldn't take care to honor our ancestors, and everyone likes festivals, right?
