In Colorado, a 14 year old girl was found with her dead father, shot many times. The police arrived after a young female called 911, and before hanging up left her address.
When questioned, the girl told police that after finding her father in a great deal of pain, she killed her Father because he asked her to.
The question is whether she should be incarcerated or not. Should she be thrown in prison for murder, or merely mentally evaluated and sent home?
Lets say she didnt lie to the police. Her father tried to kill himself, was in pain and she finished him off. Is it ethical to kill anyone? Didnt Kavorkian get thrown in prison for euthanizing a man in pain? I believe that anyone dying before their time is unethical and against religion.
But most of all, the story is definitely a lie. Are people seriously believing that someone seriously would beg their 14 year old daughter to finish them off? The man was said to have been shot several times. Would a young girl who actually did kill their father massacre the body like that? No, probably not.
