Indeed there is a first time for everything...
It's always nice to start your blog with a nice old cliche to sort of set the tone and intellectual level you can expect from this journal straight right from the beginning.
I should say a big thank you to pink_julia for inspiring me, both to start this lj in the first place and of course to my username. So, why is it all Dutch to me?! It's not really, but it appears to be to all you guys out there: Every time I tell 5 people I'm from Denmark:
* 1 will say that he/she loves Amsterdam (which is of course a lovely place but not exactly Denmark
* 2 will understand that I'm from Denmark but will then refer to me as "the Dutch girl"
* 1 will think it's the capital of Sweden
* 1 will mishear me altogether and think that I'm from Devon
So there....
I've set my mood to "curious" because I'm curious as to how many posts I'll actually write here before I forget all about it and move on to better things...time shall be the tester, I guess!
