I thought the day would never come (but it miraculously did!!)
So, I've finished my dissertation! Yeah! And handed it in, and celebrated it, and now I'm just left with packing all my crap so I can move tomorrow...isn't it amazing what you can accumulate over one tiny year?!? Anyway, once I've done all that, I get my life back so that's exciting:-)
On a different, and more sombre note, now that I have time to catch up on world news again I've been reading all about Katrina - I have to say, what we see and hear at the mo doesn't look good at all. We really are very lucky to live in a part of the world here in Europe where nothing on that scale ever seems to happen (I say, before heading out for the US...although I'm assured that in D.C. I'm more likely to get shot than caught in a hurricane - so that's all fine, then...)
