It is a dream of tots and children to be the greatest avengers of justice this world could never know. To be not only heroes, but something more, something grander. Something... super. We explore this realm of thinking through the reading of various material, capturing our wildest super-human fantasies in images that can speak well enough by themselves. But here? Here one can cast what was daydreaming aside and live it! Write the story for themselves! Be their own hero! Take up the mantle of the most beloved DC characters and do what they think they should!
BUT WHAT IS A HERO WITHOUT A VILLAIN?
As all of these wonderful writers line up to take their most beloved characters, and all of these heroes assemble, mustn't there be a threat to attempt and thwart them? For not only can one experience the life of their most cherished heroes, so too can they grin and smirk maliciously from the other side. For what is a super hero without a super villain? These villains are 'super' it is true. They break the mold of what crime and mayhem can be wreaked on a human scale and become something infinitely more.
A SUMMARY OF OUR PLOT LINE ~ AN EXPLANATION.
ARFD exists based on the comics that we all know and love and the characters therein. We begin after Infinite Crisis and during the 'One Year Later' time skip. We aren't entirely rooted to that timeline, members may have some choice in their characters but it is a general starting point - it's just a general guideline. Though all of our past is that of the DC universe up until our time, we now carve our own future! Write our own stories and experience adventures of our own making with all of their splendor! This is not some fantasy. This is not some graphic novel or comic book. This is not some forum... this is A Recipe For Disaster!
