I want to buy a castle! I can turn it into a hostel if its conveniently located :) I wish they had included the prices!

Yeah, I can find several in there I'd love to own. Don't know anything about their condition, but...they sure look cool. It would impress even my most critical friends, not that I really care about that.

few years ago when i was in czech rep. i've heard about some abit destroyed castle which was given for asle and the price in general was very low=)

may be once..all members will give some money and we'll have not only the community but and small castle somewhere )

Castles in Germany can be cheap, especially in the east. The upkeap is the problem. The province of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has an estimated 2500 manors (Herrenhaus) and castles (Schloss or Burg) in an area that roughly equals New Hampshire - how many castle hotels, hostels, convention centres, etc. can such an area sustain
