Sam Raimi: I Can’t Imagine Anyone Else But Tobey Maguire Playing Spider-Man

If you’re worried about who’s going to fill his webbed shoes now that Tobey Maguire, 34, is out as Spider-Man, you’re not the only one. Even Sam Raimi, who directed all three Spidey films, has a hard time picturing another actor taking Tobey’s place!
“I’m such a fan of Tobey’s. It’s hard for me to ever imagine anyone else in that role,” Sam, 50, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively Jan. 14 at the LA premiere of his Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
