Life had returned to normal for Jolee Bindo after the Battle of Rakata Prime. Not normal compared to the last twenty years. That would mean living at the bottom of a giant forest. No, this was normal compared to his life before that. Traveling from world to world, system to system, saving people and beating other people up.
It wasn't for him anymore. He was old. This was a young man's game. Which isn't to say that he couldn't do it, he was just sick of having to go into a healing trance to cure his back aches after fighting some sort of creature that would send most children to bed with their parents if it appeared in their dreams. Save the rancors and terentateks and spoooky Dark Jedi for some young idiot who thought he could save the galaxy one fight at a time.
That young Jedi probably could. It didn't make him less of an idiot.
No, Jolee was looking to retire. A real retirement, far away from these wars between Jedi and Sith and Mandalorians and whomever. That's why he had weaseled his way onto the locked-down planet Rakata Prime, the site of the greatest battle he had personally fought in. To embrace the future you had to stop clinging so damn tight to the past and this was the most recent past he had to give up.
What was weird, though, was the fact that for some reason the communications system on the ship he was hitching a ride on was showing something new.
"What's eBay?" he asked himself. He managed to navigate around the contents of his screen and somehow came upon a listing for a nightclub for sale in some place called 'Fandom.' Sounded quiet enough. And running a cantina would probably give him enough thrill to keep him from considering returning to a life of adventure. After all, drunk people were funny. And there was only a minute left in the auction. "Why not?" he asked himself. "You only live once. And if I end up regretting this, at least I'm old enough to die before I regret it too much, heh."
Jolee put in an unreasonably high bid, looked up the directions to this place, and 'convinced' the ship's captain to give him a ride.
Jolee Bindo was about to embark on life's great penultimate adventure: retirement.
[OOC: Jolee's bid is going to end up being the high bid, shockingly enough. He'll end up in Fandom on Sunday afternoon
