Jolee's Hut in the Woods, Thursday night

Jolee had attended the town meeting earlier. People trying to take over the island. That was nothing new. He'd spent most of his life watching or participating in some kind of struggle for power

There was a knocking at the wood door. "Oh Mister Biiiiiiindoooooo."

"What?" Jolee asked, forced out of his meditation. "Is somebody there?"

Dennis opened the door and walked into Jolee's hut. "Hi. Are you Mister Bindo?"

The Force was not with this child. Jolee looked deep and couldn't sense any malicious intent, but it was clear that he was a force of destruction. The child could do untold amounts of danger if left unchecked.

He was, in short, a menace.

"Yes. What are you doing here?"

"Our islands are next to each other, so I went explorin'," Dennis said. "I'm Dennis Mitchell. Do you have any cookies?"

"No, I don't," Jolee said. "I have vegetables from my garden, but that's it."

"Oh, those were yours?" Dennis asked.

Jolee's face turned from cautious indifference to pure annoyance. "What did you do to my garden?"

"I figured they were weeds, so I pulled 'em!" Dennis said.

Jolee rose from his seat and rushed to the door faster than one might expect a man his age to rush. He looked outside and saw that his entire garden had been destroyed. "I'm giving you one warning," Jolee said as a hand went behind his back. He reached into the Force as he spoke to set up a counterassault. "Leave now. Never return. If I ever see you again, I'll start with a long, rambling, annoying lecture and it'll just get worse from there."

"Why don't you have any toys, Mr Bindo?" Dennis asked, paying no heed to the threat.

"I'm old," Jolee said as the hose from outside floated to his hands. "I don't have time for fun."

Jolee turned the hose on and aimed it at the Menace. "Now get out of here!"

"The water's taking the dirt off!" Dennis yelled, running for the door as the water cleaned him. "See you tomorrow, Mr Bindo!"

"Not if I have anything to say about it," Jolee muttered as he watched the Menace flee into the woods.
