Okay, the world series is two games underway with the Red Sox up 2-0 that is something to rejoice about right. And I'm a little bit late to comment on this but whatever right it is something that I think is messed-the-fuck-up. As soon as the Red Sox made the last out in the ALCS everyone was out in the streets screaming and throwing shit all over the place. They started to tear down parts of fences, a kid lit a tree on fire in the president of schools lawn... You'd think that the president just enstated a draft or something. There were fifteen arrests made that night alone. And the police are reviewing tapes to catch more students who participated in the riotous behavior. Anyone who was around the rioting was considered to be part of the rioting. "In addition, every student who was in a crowd on campus or on Russell Street after the game bears a responsibility for the result. No one was "just having fun" or was "an innocent bystander". Everyone must take responsibility for the disturbance of the peace that awoke and frightened children and residents, for the cheers that encouraged the law breakers, for providing the blanket of anonymity that bottle throwers and other violators hid behind. Everyone who participated brought shame upon themselves, their families, and the University." from an email sent to the students.... its just fucking crazy who thought that this would happen. "Some students are facing immediate suspension and more will be suspended or expelled as further police reports and other evidence comes in." from the same email. Yay, we rioted, yay we get caught. Yay suspension or expulsion! and the kid that lit the tree on fire was caught and is now facing 3.5-7 years for felony class b arson (from what I heard) Oh boy. Where do I sign up?
Well signing off from my ranting
