a. When I put Kamael into Pontiff's Wing I realised she had to have some sprogs, and I wanted her to have one boy, at least - hence Nessy. Originally I wanted him to be the one who was at first glance most like Kamael, but inwardly far more capable and smug and crazy. This has changed a bit since then - I think his development was possibly influenced a bit too much by the amount of fashion photography I went through: images that were quirky and strange but sort of remote, which is a description that fits Nessy pretty well too. XD
b. His best trait is his stubborn sense of duty. When he commits to something - people or causes or wearing stupid shirts - he'll stick with it and carry it through even though some part of him may not always want to.
c. He's got a huge, stupid guilt complex: everything that goes wrong is his fault somehow, he should have done better or tried harder. This has pretty much emotionally stunted him over the years.
d. Despite writing very little, I know Nes isn't too bad in this department - he's pretty easy for me to understand, and writing him just flows easily.
e. I haven't done as much with Nes as I should have, but I think I captured him pretty well in Once which is here.
f. I WANT TO WRITE LOTS. Especially with his family for starters, just to establish those interactions.
