turn up the power.
yesterday i met Bill Nye the Science Guy! he gave a lecture at my work. about stars and mars and the global warming. it was stressful because EVERYONE wanted to see this and were pissed that i couldn't let them in. but i got to watch from the projection room. yes!
he has a new show called Eyes of Nye for teens - adults. and a show on the discovery channel about the greatest inventions.
i'm leaving for england tomorrow.,. withe bonnie. we'll be there for about a week, we come back on the 23rd/
friday night bonnie's brothers and their friends invited us to go to a hip club in San Jose: Studio 8. it was okay i guess: $2 drinks. i got drunk: on the verge of throwing up, but didn't. they had a stupid dress code, no baseball caps, but people could wear douche bag hats, and no tennis shoes. luckily they let me in. (i have this thing about shoes, it's weird. i promised myself i would never wear dress shoes for any reason,, there's gotta be a way around it. and especially those shoes that are usually glossy looking and have no laces and are almost square at the end. i associate those shoes w/ pricks.) anyway:i got in. if i didn't i was just gonna wander the streets looking for food. the club sucked but i had fun, it was nice, but they played crap music, until i was drunk : then they started playing songs i knew...from 8th grade. oh!!! and i made a new drink: no name for it yet,, but i think i'll come up w/ one on the spot.... howabout a life vest. (i'll have a life vest) meh, it's alright.
well it's a mix of 1/2 a glass of a screwdriver and 1/2 a glass of a whiskey sour. not bad, i say/ might be what made me sicky/
so last night, after bill nye: Greg is having a get together because he's leaving for L.A. soon/ (good thing i just got him into yacht rock. another michael mcdonald hater converted.) well it was fun, people were coming in and out, he had lots of pizza (but i had 8 pancakes before i came over from IHOP... pancake day is feb. 20.free pancakes!!!) he had a dog: Peety. we watched outrageous behavior. it was hilarious. and in case you don't know about It's Always Funny in Philadelphia, it's hilarious. and we watched yacht rock from my ipod. also hilarious.
