Cosplay Variations

So my The Impossible Astronaut Amy Pond costume was on when I first conceived of it, and then off when my Anime North boss told me I couldn't wear it while selling things, and now it's on again because my boss said that there's the chance he might let me go an hour or so early when business slows down at nights so that I might go have some convention fun and/or do the masquerade or whatever. I've trimmed down my 'canon' requirements - I won't get a wig because they are helluva expensive and just let my hair grow out as long as I can, get it dyed red before the con (going for the 'recognition factor' here), and I'll go buy those cute ankle-length jeans I saw at Old Navy for $16 or thereabouts. Oh and a Sharpie of course, and a water-thingy marker that iamradar suggested for the actual markings. I already have hiking shoes and I've done the best plaid-shirt matching that a girl on a budget who is trying to avoid ordering things online can do. Unfortunately I don't really have the time or the money to get contact lenses to wear instead of my glasses, but I can just take those off if I really need to.
