(no subject)
I read an entire book today. Light On Snow by Anita Shreve. Three hundred and five pages of easy reading. There's always a sense of accomplishment when you finish a book in a short amount of time. I think the last one was the Da Vinci Code.
I read the first 200 pages sitting outside in the sun wearing a tank top and flip flops!!! It was about 67 and GLORIOUS! And the last 105 pages I read in bed, finished at 5pm which was perfect, b/c Joe should be about to get home from work...but the phone rings and guess what? He's staying back til 7. ANNOYING.
Other than the book, I did 2 loads of laundry (got to dry my jeans outside on the line - that made me happy) and took a walk around the neighbourhood. Lots of people outside walking, cycling, chatting to neighbours. I don't think I've ever had such an appreciation for spring.
