Once again my writer's block is acting up, so to try and give it a nudge, I wrote this in response to venusorbit1 's smut challenge. See if you guess which theme this applies to....

Needless to say, this was very, very, steamy. Jadeite's panicking about his clothing only to have it all inevitably be ripped off by Dom!Rei was...orgasmic, to say the least.

Also, are those Rei's "Victory Boots"?

There are so many things I like in this ficlet, among them the name Joel, how nervous he is, that Mina walked in on him in the shower, that you were actually brave enough to pick the "safety word" prompt, that he bought new clothes, that he couldn't bear Kai's comments and oh, so much more.

Yay! :) I have to admit, I was a little nervous writing this prompt. It was supposed to be from Rei's POV, but Joel insisted on telling the story. Boy was he surprised when he found out what kind of a date he was going on.

I should have had her rip his shirt - what kind of a smut fic is this when there is no clothing ripping?

First you had me laughing my head off (thankfully I'm already home from school), then you had me entranced painting the image of a dominatrix Rei in my brain. This is lovely from beginning to end; like Lytton said there're too many things to love about the ficlet. That it was Rei who started to tease Joel, Joel's panic that he barely had any time remained, Mina and Zane's comments, and of course an unexpectedly bold Rei towards the end!

If this is what you write when attacked by writer's block, I should love to live inside your head and see how your ideas normally develop :P

I'm glad you liked it. The shower scene was a bit unexpected. Once it was written, someone had to walk in. I thought about it being Ami, but she may have never recovered from the mortification.
