Pt.6 A Christmas Miracle?
The day started out like any other day - although today was the day before Christmas. Minako had been out shopping for some last minute gifts when she saw him. At first she thought she imagined him when she took in a glimpse of his profile before he disappeared in the throngs of people. She ran closer and found him looking into the large paned window of an art store. His attention was completely focused that it was several minutes before he noticed that he was being watched. Mina stared, frozen in place as his eyes settled on her. One of her bags slipped from her grasp and he cautiously approached her to bend over and pick up the package. As his hand reached out to offer her the bag she started to back away, tears forming in her eyes.
“You’re dead….” was all she could say before backing away. She bumped into a middle aged woman who started to chastise her for not watching where she was going, when she noticed the tears that started falling down the blonde’s face. The woman looked over to notice the tall man with the pale hair holding a package in his hand. By the time she looked back to where the girl last stood, she was gone.
