Title : EXILE Samurai Story: Chapter 1 (Part 5)
Language : English
Ratings : PG-13
Disclaimer: I definitely don't own all the characters here, including the 3 girls... well, probably I just own my character...

Author's note:
This is my first EXILE Fanfic. First of all, the setting of the story is following the EXSamurai version that shown on EXILE LOVE Album and ENTERTAINMENT BEST Album. So don't expect that this story is going to be Heian time story with all those katana only weapons like the one that shown regularly on EXILE Generation. There will be some advance technologies mixed with ancient costumes and stuffs. And if there are still many tacky and non-sense scene, please forgive me. The story is still need many corrections and revise, so... feel free to comment for any suggestions... because I really need that for further development on the story. and also for misspells or any wrong grammars. And this story was un-beta-ed, so forgive me for my poor english.

Part 5

The morning came and the sun gave his light to the land. As soon as the sun started to appear, the town people started their morning activities. Lia walked out from their house and closed the old Japan sliding door softly. She used a soft purple kimono with sakura motive on it and tied her hair on a ponytail with some loose hair on her left side. She wanted to do some shopping for their breakfast.

The morning market already started their daily routine activities as Lia arrived on the market. She looked around to find some ingredients for breakfast. She bought some vegetables and fruits. Then she saw the old lady who was the owner of the fish shop was trying to open the shop cover. But it seemed that she was having a trouble with the cover.

Lia quickly came to her. “Okami-san, good morning.” She greeted the old lady.

The old lady turned her face and relieved to see Lia. “Ah, Sakura-chan.” She smiled. “Good morning.”

“Needs help?” Lia asked politely.

“Ah, yes.” The old lady admitted and seemed a little embarrass because of it.

“Let me do it for you.” Lia said.

“Ah, yes.” The old lady said then gave the bamboo stick to Lia and moved away. “Thank you very much.”

“It’s fine.” Lia said as she smiled and received the bamboo stick. She put her groceries on the clean floor. It was usual for her to help the fish shop keeper like this.

The old lady went back to her shop to do something else.

Lia lifted the cover of the shop when her eyes caught a small rat with a scarf on its neck near her right foot. Lia stopped and looked to the rat. The rat was sniffing at her groceries. Then, the rat sat on its butt and raised its upper body, as if it was sitting. Lia turned her look to the shop keeper then put the stick to support the cover.

“Anoo… Okami-san.” Lia said as she called the owner.

The old lady came to the front. “Ah, yes, Sakura-chan?”

Lia smiled to see the old lady. “How much is the price for the dry fish?” Lia asked.

“How much do you need?” The lady asked.

“Hmm… just a little of it. Tabun, just around a half of it.”

The lady smiled. “Then it’s a free for you.”

“Ah, hontou?” Lia asked. “Demo…” Lia looked hesitated and objection to receive the gift.

“You’ve helped me a lot for opening this shop today. So consider it as a payment for helping the shop.”

Lia smiled. “Arigatou gozaimasu.” She said as she bowed.

The old lady took a piece of dry fish and gave it to Lia. “Anything else?”

“Hum… Three fish. As usual.” Lia said.

“Alright. Chotto matte nee.” The old lady turned and took Lia’s order. She warped it on a paper then tied it. She turned again and gave it to Lia. “Here you go.”

“Thank you.” Lia said then she paid for the fishes. “Jya nee, Okami-san.”

“Come again next time, Sakura-chan.” The old lady said as she waved to Lia.

Lia just smiled and nodded. She walked away from the shop. She also gave a look to the rat and told it to come with her.

“And thank you for your help.”

Lia could hear the old lady thanked her. She giggled and looked down to the rat. “I help her sometimes.” She stopped and squatted then offered her hand to the rat. “Come on.”

The rat came to her hand.

Lia stood up and walked again. “Here’s for you.” She said as she gave the dry fish to the rat.

The rat took the dry fish and ate it.

“You seem not like a usual rat.” Lia said as she brushed the rat’s fur.

The rat looked at her.

“Did someone train you?” Lia asked.

The rat still looked at her.

Lia smiled. “It seems that I was right, nee. So, where’s your master?”

The rat turned his head to the front and sniffed. Then it stopped as it saw its master walking on the street. It turned its head to Lia.

“Ah, you have found him?” Lia asked.

The rat chirped.

“Ah, sou ka.” Lia said as she smiled.

“Well, there you are.”

A sound of a man has made Lia stopped walking. She looked up and saw Matsu came to her. The man stopped on the front of her.

“Ano…”

“Yes?” Lia asked.

Matsu pointed at the rat on Lia’s palm. “The rat… it’s mine.”

“Ah… douzo.” Lia extended her hands to the man. She returned the rat to Matsu.

“Thank you.” Matsu said as he received his rat.

“It’s hungry.” Lia said. “So I gave it a piece of dry fish.”

“Ah… thank you very much.” Matsu thanked her again. “Did it bother you?”

“No.” Lia smiled. “It’s cute actually.”

“Ee?” Matsu seemed to surprise. “You don’t scare at it?”

“No. Not at all.” Lia shook her head slow with a smile on her face.

“Well, that’s strange. Girls usually don’t like rats. They’ll scream whenever they see rats.”

Lia’s smile turned to giggles. “I guess I’m not a usual girl.” Lia commented.

Lia’s giggle was making Matsu blushed, because he realized how cute and sweet the girl that was standing on the front of him. “But thank you very much for feeding him. I’m sure it cost you some amount.”

“It’s fine.” Lia said. “Besides, okami-san gave me an extra.” Lia looked at the rat. “Nee, nezumi-chan?”

“Ah, sou ka.” Matsu seemed to understand.

“Onamae wa?” Lia asked.

“The rat?”

Lia looked at Matsu. “Iie. Anata no namae.”

“Ah.” Matsu seemed understand. “Matsu desu.”

“Ah… Matsu-san nee.” Lia said and looked back to the rat while bending her body to the rat. “You trained the rat well enough.” She caressed the rat’s fur gently.

Again, a slight blush appeared on Matsu’s face. He was thinking that the girl is so nice and kind. “Arigatou.”

Lia straightened her body and looked at Matsu. She smiled. “Well… I have to go now. Mata ne, Matsu-san.” Lia nodded then went away.

Matsu saw the young lady went away. “She’s cute…” Matsu said as he gazed off. But then he felt a bite on his finger. “Itta!” He looked back to the rat as he turned his body around. “Why do you bite me?” He complained but then he realized something. “Ah, you’re jealous then.” He paused. “But don’t blame me, since I’m the human and you’re the rat.”

The rat just turned its face away from Matsu.

“Hee?! So now you’re angry at me?” Matsu said as he went away. “Nande? You’re letting a girl to break our bond?”

From behind the tree, Lia showed up. It appeared that she was hiding behind the tree trunk when Matsu went away to another direction. Lopka was standing behind her. Both of them still could hear Matsu’s voice, speaking loudly to his rat. Lia went giggles to hear and see them.

“They’re funny.” Lia said as she chuckled.

“Matsu-san, the ninja and also the rat trainer.”

“Sou ka. So he’s the animal’s trainer nee.”

“Sou desu.” Lopka said. “But I think it’s relieving since it wasn’t Gail who met him.”

“Nande? Because of her fear of rats?”

Lopka smiled at her. “You got my point.”

Lia just smiled. “Let’s go back, before Gail awakes.” She walked again and Lopka walked along with her.

“I don’t think she’ll awake in an hour or two.”

“Nande?” Lia asked as she tilted her head.

“She was drinking a little too much last night.” Lopka said. “Even though she wasn’t drinking until she’s drink, but she’s drinking too much than usual.”

“Sou ka.” Lia said. “Well, better think about menu for our lunch today. I’m sure Gail already awake on that time.”

Lopka just smiled.

“So did there any happen?”

The smile on Lopka’s face disappeared. Her eyes turned into serious and cold. “I don’t think that I can watch them anymore.”

“Why?”

“Atsushi-san caught my presence and attacked me.”

“Sou ka.” Lia seemed understand. “Then let’s stop surveillance them since they already at the town.”

“Alright.”

“And you should take a rest after we have breakfast. I’ll wake you up after mid-day.”

“Alright.”

Lia smiled. Both of the girls went back to their residence.

When both Lopka and Lia arrived on the house, Gail already waited for them on the front balcony. She was still using her sleeping kimono and she still looked sleepy and a little bit grumpy. Gail yawned when Lopka and Lia walked toward her. She covered her mouth with her hand when she yawned. There was an envelope on her hand.

“You wake early.” Lia said to her.

“It’s not because I’m doing it on purpose.” Gail said sarcastically as if she was on bad mood. But as always Lia just smiled to hear her sharp and sarcastic words. Gail raised her hand with an envelope stuck between her point finger and middle finger. “Here.” She said then threw the letter as if it was a shuriken.

Lopka caught the envelope. “What’s that?” Lopka said then opened the envelope and read the letter inside with Lia.

“That letter disturbs my sleep.” Gail straightened her body and yawned again. “Wake me up on the noon nee.” She said as she yawned then she held her temple. “My head is still dizzy.”

Lia looked at her. “I’ll leave aspirin tablets on your room later.” Lia said to Gail.

Gail just raised her hand and waved to say thank you to Lia as she walked on the balcony, back to her room.

Lia looked at Lopka. “What did it say?” Lia asked.

“The girl will appear in Gekidan tonight.” Lopka said.

“Gekidan desu nee.” Lia said then she smiled. “We also have schedule on there tonight.”

Lopka just nodded.
