I have questions - you might have answers. Or emoticons.

1 - Who's watching SHIELD? So the new guy who was Xena's partner before she was killed (Hunter)... SHOT May and Skye, but then they weren't shot? Then the next episode they're all like "we don't like you, you shot us." But if they'd been shot wouldn't they'd be dead? Or at least, recovering from bullet wounds? Did he have a tranq gun that I missed ( Read more... )

1 - I... don't remember? Must have been a stun gun, or whatever. In other words: I'm technically still watching the show, but I am paying very little attention to it. Soz.

3 - Ahahahahaha, INDEED. Personally, I'd rather have Katrina back & perhaps occupying the role in the story currently given to the new white dude. (The new white dude seems tailor-made to be slashed with Ichabod, and I am NOT HERE FOR IT. Grrr. There are already too many shows with that particular type of subtext, and it's too often two white dudes, and somebody kill him off already. Bah humbug.)

4 - Oh, it's FUCKING AWFUL, isn't it? I tried to watch it because of Lucas Black, but it's too dreadful. It will probably have ten seasons, of course.

6 - May I recommend Grantchester? Only two eps so far, but I am HARDCORE IN LOVE (and have mainlined all of Wire in the Blood this week because of it - Robson Green is costarring). Actually, hang on, I'll write a pimping post about it later today.

Oh yay, come into my newest/smallest fandom!!!! (Pimpage post here if you have the time.) Apparently I should have just shouted ROBSON GREEN at my twitter feed rather than HOT PRIEST because y'all have, uh, slightly different buttons than I do. *cough*

So YES - he's in it, and he's greatgreatgreat, and I also spent the past week binge-watching Wire in the Blood and loving ittttttt. (Where did Hermione Norris go? I liked her oh so much; she's brilliant.) Actually, I just discovered a special ep that wasn't on my regular, um, supply channel so I'm looking forward to seeing it now, before I get the actual shakes from sudden withdrawal. That show is A LOT.

Re: SH, my highest hope is that Katrina will get free and join Ichabod and Abbie in their adventures, and also that we'll get many scenes of Ichabod explaining modern world stuff to her with HILARIOUS WRONGNESS while Abbie tries not to LOL. Basically, I try to have pretty low expectations since the show has sidelined both Katrina and Irving, and that... worries me. :(

I'M IN UR FANDOM, HAVING ALL THE <3<3<3!

Grantchester. *SIGH OF HAPPY* Yes, sorry, hot priest is one thing but Robson Green and Morvern Christie are another!

Wire in the Blood is so superb. I was really upset when Hermione Norris left, but ended up being okay with the other woman (who is not in the books, which I somewhat reluctantly read). WARNING - that "special ep" is really crap. If it's the one I'm thinking of -- he goes to Texas, or something.

Oh, you -- expecting logic. ;-)

I'm watching Shield again after having abandoned it last season. Works much better for me now, but I handwave a whole lot on the credibility front.

As for Sleepy Hollow, I think the show does not know what to do with Katrina. She is potentially so interesting and yet given so little to do. I'm afraid she'll do something stupid to try and redeem Henry-Jeremy. I'd like to see her on the team and showing us the whole "powerful witch" thing we're told about but not shown. And I want her and Abby to be friends.

ME AND MY GODDAMN LOGIC.

Shield = I don't even know. I think I just want to like it but I don't.

I think Katrina is a real problem. I don't find her compelling at all, the character or the actress. If she and Crane are reunited, it's going to dampen the spark between him and Abby. But it could be handled deftly, if they could bring themselves to let modern marriage with all its difficulties exist. I frankly think they should do more with Jenny and Irving first, then deal with Katrina.

Get out of my head, you!

I've been watching CM for so long that I'm starting to take the crack for granted. That's bad, isn't it?

I don't think it's bad, it's just... HOLD ON I NEED ANOTHER HIT.

1. I'm pretty sure Hunter shot them with the "night night" gun, as Fitz so lovingly dubbed it.

I have also learned it's called the ICER and was introduced in the pilot, which I have, of course, forgotten completely about.
