Read a stunned and snarky take on Tokyo's android sex show. I want to see this, is that wrong?
Christopher Eccleston looking amazing in Thor 2 preview. I'd hit that.
I just finished reading
the Patrick Melrose novels: Never Mind, Bad News, Some Hope & Mother's Milk and have ordered the one not included in the recently published collection, At Last. Yesterday I read that my former celebrity boyfriend Benedict Cumberbatch
wants to play Patrick Melrose and is reading the novels now as leisure. This Reddit Q&A is actually fabulous and he does not come across as a twat. Enjoyable reading if you have the time. All future interviews with him shall be conducted via the internets.
Additionally, I do recommend the Patrick Melrose novels. They aren't happy things, but there's a lot of snark and bitchery with regards to the English upper class, a tour through heroin addiction, and more snark and bitchery. WARNING there is also the sexual abuse of a child. As I wasn't "warned" because this isn't fanfiction, I was a little taken aback. There are a lot of unexpected turns of phrase, so many in fact, that my copy of the novel is quite dog-eared. It would make a better series than a film.
In other news,
Donald Glover had a weird sort of Instagram breakdown and doesn't really explain if he's just writing rap lyrics or has been totally traumatized by Community and his recording studio. I'm exceptionally bummed that he will only be in five episodes coming up. Community at its best is BRILLIANT (in the American sense of the word not the British) and first losing (then gaining back) Dan Harmon and now the weirdness with Chevy Chase and less Donald Glover is worrisome.
Bonus: more time to develop the torrid love affair between Jeff and the Dean!
