Live Journal upgrade-type things? Wha? Do we like them?
I'm in California at present, with the Fam. Things are going well. There has been much up and down mood-wise but at the moment I'm just enjoying a steady, fairly good period where I have not been depressed. It won't last, it never does, but while I'm here, I'm trying to live in the moment.
So I've been to Israel, Italy, London and now California, and in July -- it's Job Search Time. Part time probably, but if I don't plunge into another depression, I hope to work at the very least. My career is slipping away from me and that doesn't please me... rather the opposite. However I plan to approach it with a calm, optimistic face (yeah right) and focus on what I like to do and what I want to do not "oh god just take anything, you're desperate." Because that has not worked in the past.
You know how when you really like a show and then you run to AO3 and there are NO FICS? I guess I'm the only person on the planet who doesn't want to write/read Teen Wolf and Avengers. Or Sherlock, as it happens. I was really upset to find all of 4 fics for Mad Dogs. I mean... FOUR? Even Ripper Street has like, 20 or something. I'm constantly on the outs with fandom these days. I like weird things, I find. I'm sure I'll get back in sync in fall. Or as soon as I start watching Teen Wolf season whatever-the-newest-one-is.
