Being Human 4.1 and Bowls of Various Sorts

Feb 06, 2012 02:33

My day was made by early viewing of Puppy Bowl, complete with Kitty Halftime.

Then, most surprisingly, it was just the four of us: me, my mom, my dad and my brother, watching the Super Bowl and stuff. No spouses, no family, no friends, just us four. Kind of nifty. We took a walk at one point and I counted "God Bless America" signs in the front yards.

I... feel so angsty with this damn show. Opening scene and WHAT? Nina's DEAD??? I knew about Russell Tovey leaving, but OY, I missed the Nina thing.

Okay. They should have purchased a new, steel door a long time ago. Why is their door still translucent, frosted glass? I want an explanation.

George, you're looking very Hound of the Baskervilles these days.

LOL, put the baby in a cat carrier!

"But I bet the Magna Carta doesn't have a nipple on it!" I like this new baddie Cutler, FYI. Where have I seen him before? (the actor is Andrew Gower, I looked him up). I like the bad guy Griffin too, where have I seen HIM?

Tom's story tracks because he was in love with Nina, and he and George never really were mates because of that. Tom wants to avenge Nina and gain George's trust so he buys into a hackneyed plan to kill Griffin and gets George out of the house to help him and THUS the baby is left vulnerable and ends up in the hands of the vamps. Sensible plot, wow, I haven't seen you in a long time!

FEELINGS about George's death. FEELINGS ALL OF THEM.

Okay Being Human, you have my attention. Bring it on.
