What's happening, man?
I... haven't been posting. But lunch today with
thirdbird reminded me that fandom is so nice and I miss it. And also, reading
bethynyc's journal reminds me that I miss things if I check out for too long.
*waves*
I loved the season opener of Community. Who's with me?
I am sad that there is only one more Doctor Who until fall of 2012. Jesus, Moffat, clone yourself already. I was laughing with my friend last night about how there are only 4 1/2 hours of Sherlock (or six eps of other quality Brit tv) and yet we get 22 episodes of something like Hawaii Five-O. And she was all embarrassed, and said "well, I watch Hawaii Five-O." So I had to say, "NO, DON'T GET ME WRONG. I love Hawaii Five-O, in all it's Steve and Danno and Kono glory. But the plots are stupid." So that wasn't the best analogy. I should have said, "we get 22 episodes of [insert your favorite stupid show to bash here]."
Also Fringe is awesome. I have decided that this year I will not nit-pick my fave shows to death. I will just watch them and enjoy them, and NOT watch anything that is lame or trashy. I waste a lot of time impatiently waiting for certain shows to be over. Well, no more! Either I watch and enjoy or I don't watch.
I saw five minutes of the new Charlie's Angels for the LULZ. And dear god, the stupid. I mean, seriously. I lasted a half hour into "Unforgettable" and just. No. I may watch one more Person of Interest, but I may not.
Reruns of Torchwood on BBC-A! Reminding me why I loved the show! Iantooooooo!
Talk to me.
