Saw this last week and laughed: the BBC jumps in on the old discussion of those rampant Americanisms where none should be! Why do some Americanisms irritate people? Having read reams and reams of rants about Americanisms in Sherlock fandom, this made me laugh hard. Stay British, Brits! I <3 U.
Some people witnessed the filming of Sherlock and have kindly posted about it WITHOUT spoilers, hurrah! Nicely done.
scrollgirl posted a really awesome Con Report about Jewel Staite that makes me love her even more. Her friendship with Nathan Fillion makes me draw hearts around them.
Is it just me or does it seem like EVERYTHING EVER is being written in Sherlock fandom now? That happened in SGA, right? But I somehow have blocked it out? I feel like every day there is "Sherlock kicks a rock and John asks him why he did that and they have a conversation about their feelings." And so on. I mean, there's loads of good stuff, excellent fandom expansion and meta-plosions of joy. BUT. Sometimes it gets a little weird, you know?
There WAS that "Rodney is a chicken and John plucks him," sequence of events... lest we forget.
