A handful of things worth thinking about.
Okay, what am I going to do with my Delicious? Yahoo is taking it away from me. *sadface*
I took a few fangirls to the husband's restaurant last night. It's the least I can do seeing as they always arrange fun stuff and have parties and I have not had a gathering in forever because of the cats (damn the cats!) We ate like queens and kings. pun and linaerys brought significant others and ahab99 consented to be my date since my husband was... in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant! Where a man outta be!
I had spent my day holding back tears at my desk because of blah blah winter blues, changes at the job, feeling maudlin about the "real" job that I don't have, etc. ad nauseum. But the minute I was in the presence of said fangirls I felt 100% better. And then I ate a lot of meat and cheese and pasta and had some wine and dessert and felt mainly full, but also a lot more lively.
Lesson? Offices are bad, friends and food are good.
