I want to be elloquent in my angst and anger (and not just say F him) ....I am revolted by George Bush. He makes my stomach churn and my heart ache. Louisiana has been pleading for help to resolve the issues of flooding in New Orleans/ S LA for years and he refused to even take a heli-tour to understand the danger.
I am glad I don't have any way of getting news and can't surround myself with all of this. It makes my heart want to hide away ...
Thanks oil and the way it fuels our every day- (GWB and his friends own oil companies and profit from our need to consume- maybe this is why alternatives are "hard to find") - WE ARE A FRAGILE NATION.
LOOK at the chaos and destruction - in New Orleans, yes but here as well. SC is OUT OF GAS for the most part, people are fighting in the streets (at the pumps) over GASOLINE and stealing it from parked cars.
Schools and businesses are preparing to close down because of the oil shortage.
I love you so much New Orleans and I am sorry you have turned into a third world nation. Never forget that we are LEAVING YOU... martial law, "shutting down the city completely"... remember that rich white men don't really care for you. Choose leaders who do.
Thank God mostly poor "minorities" (the actual majority of NOLA) are left in the city- if anyone else was left there America would have to really care.
