Hello, and good tidings to you all!
It is that joyous time of year again, that holiest of holy seasons, when your favorite prodigal daughter/sister gains another year of wisdom. And to this end, I bring to you that holiest of holy traditions, the annual List of Desires!
The best gift that any of you could provide would be financial assistance in my travel plans. As you know, I am going on a grand voyage in a few weeks, which will include not only a couple of Ani concerts, but also my first visit ever to our great neighbour to the North, Canadia*!!!! So if you are feeling particularly generous, financial assistance in this endeavour would be the most wonderfully appreciated gift anyone could offer.
However, if you are looking for tangible tokens of your affection to offer, I do have an Amazon wishlist (newly updated for your gift-giving needs!) that includes everything I could ever want. (Well, that isn't, you know, a new car, or freedom from student loans, or world peace, or whatever other nonsense the kids are into these days.) My only request, if you are considering buying me something that has not yet been released, is that you subtly inquire as to whether or not I've already purchased it. Chances are if it's on this list, I haven't managed to rationalize buying it for myself to date, so you should be good, but there are a few releases over the next two weeks *coughGilmoreGirlscough* that I may be able to rationalize procuring on my own. So needless to say, it's worth keeping an eye and ear open (or maybe both of each, for those of you who still have two that are functional....) to make sure. Also, just because it's recently added to the list, doesn't mean it's high priority. Be sure to check out the priority before procuring! (And, because I'm Just That Considerate, the link below sorts it by priority for you. No muss, no fuss!)

Beyond money to gallivant around the continent and physical statements of how much you love me (also financially speaking, of course), I can't think of a single other thing I want at this time. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, and also save this list for future gift-giving! It's a handy thing to have when you're looking to buy me presents for no reason at all. :D Also, start thinking about possible celebration ideas. I'm not naive enough to think that one celebration will be able to cover the joy and adoration you feel for me, so each of you is welcome to come up with your own brilliant celebration ideas. Just don't do anything silly like try to take me to a restaurant I hate. We all know that's the worst way to show me how much you love and appreciate me.....
