a few comments about the new rent trailer (an actual trailer as opposed to a teaser, which is available here), as well as the sound clips from the soundtrack available on the official site:
end of the week went well. i started bleeding, randomly, at work today. i thought i had my period for a minute until i realized that i'd just forgotten to take the pill for a few days, and it was pretty much status quo. uhh......what else? yeah, actually, i got nothin'. never mind. i just wanted to share the rent thoughts anyway. i'll go now.

- i'm a little confused as to why on earth anthony seems so *old* all of a sudden in this trailer, when he doesn't look that old IRL. is it the glasses? it might be the glasses.
- a lot of people like adam with his shaggy hair. i don't. why couldn't he have cut it during the movie, instead of after? sheesh.
- adam's voice has NOT aged well from one recording to the next. i don't know if he's just forcing too much, or if that's the way they wanted him to sing it, but he just doesn't sound great.
- damn, rosario sounds good. too much like daphne, i think, but *really* good. and sexy! but we knew that. it never occurred to me, but she's really the perfect person in hollywood to play mimi at this point. the only person, very possibly.
- I WANT A CLIP OF "TAKE ME OR LEAVE ME"!!!!!!!!!!!! and to hear all of "santa fe". damn it, who does a girl need to bribe to get an advance copy?!
- "what you own" still breaks my heart. every time. and "halloween"'d better still be there, and be *sung*.
- and anthony sounds perfect, still. so does jesse! and DAMN, can tracie belt it out!
- i can understand, with box office being the way it has this year, wanting it out thankgiving weekend, but are they *really* not going to do a limited release first? even a week ahead? cause shit, man, thanksgiving is a long-ass way away.
