Timeline/Continuity: Extreme futurefic in Buffy canon. Undetermined in Star Trek canon, but sometime late in TNG. Spoilers for all of Buffy, especially "Chosen." Mild AU, in that the Star Trek future comes to exist in a world in which Star Trek already existed as a fictional universe.
A/N: Written for scoobiesinspace. For those of you don't know, I'm a canon whore, and I became fascinated thinking about the way the two canons could be fused. My muse insisted I write a fic, although the resulting effort has no literary merit whatsoever, being mainly dialogue and exposition. It was fun to create, though, and I decided to turn it into a comic using my rather unsophisticated copy&paste skills. Thanks to A Buffy Sceencap Site for most but not all of the Buffy images.
