This is how it works: Comment on this entry that you'd like to play, and I will give you a letter.Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
From
wisdomeagle, the letter E:
E is for the Episcopal Church, which is the perfect mix of high church liturgy and theological liberalism for a particular Discordian Episkopos Reverend you might know.
E is for Eris Discordia, Goddess of Chaos and Queen of Confusion. Every Golden Apple Corps is the beloved home of a Golden Worm.
E is for Ender Wiggin, who has a brother and a sister who like to make out with each other are more caught up in each other than they should be, probably.
E is for the Edwardian Age, the Belle Epoque, which gave us some of the greatest works of literature of all time, including but not limited to those of George Bernard Shaw, Gilbert Keith Chesteton, Frances Hodgeson Burnett, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
E is for England, my home for four months, where they have a marvelous concoction which tastes like Sprite--only better--and is called lemonade, which has Tottenham Court Road and Great Russell Street, and just so many memories of so many kinds.
E is for Eschatological Pantheistic Multiple-Ego Solipsism.
E is for Epistemology, the branch of philosophy that deals with what we know, how we know it, and how we know we know it. Of course as a post-structuralist I don't quite believe that Metaphysics, Epistemology, or Philosophy of Language is the Queen of the Sciences--but it is fun to watch when they get together to fight over sovereingty.
E is for Eve, the scheming child of the Senior Partners.
E is for Ethan Raynes, equally scheming chaos mage.
E is for Education, of which I really want more.
