One day of warmth is all I want. Two weeks of cold weather has ruined parts of the orange crops, strawberries and some animals have suffered. There are turtles being found floating in the water near death, tropical fish farms which have suffered millions in losses. Even worse are families without heat having to light stoves and burn candles to keep warm. Some have lost their houses and lives in the process It has been a hard winter in other parts of the country as well.

It is a New Year and with it comes hope and new beginnings. I wish it all for each and every one of you.
