2) Or maybe you suffer from mild depression? Usually depression de-motivates people. They don't necessarily cry, they just get apathetic.
3) Maybe you just haven't found something to be motivated for. Maybe all it takes is a passion or a hobby or an obsession.
4) Um...I've only been in one relationship and it lasted less than 6 months. Some people are serial monogamists and some aren't. Some people aren't into "relationships" and just want friendship and/or sex. This isn't "pathetic" or "wrong" unless you're lying and hurting the other person. Wait, strike that--someone getting hurt in a relationship is always inevitable. As long as you are being totally honest with yourself and the other person about what you need an how you feel, I think it's ok. The key is to be transparent. I don't think it's healthy for anyone to stay in a relationship when they aren't gung-ho about it anymore--it will only lead to more pain down the road. You might be able to work your way up to a much longer term relationship with time and wisdom.
5) Not to be a bitch, but your comment about your 30 year deadline (um..har har?) made me wonder about your pro-life politics: how can someone so committed to ending his life at age 30 find the lives of fetuses so precious and worth fighting for? If you have the right to kill yourself, I should have the right to end an unwanted pregnancy. And don't say "well, it's my choice--the fetus doesn't have a choice" because, frankly, a 2 or 3 month fetus is entirely dependent on the mother and therefore, I'd argue, part of the mother's body to do whatever she wishes with.
Again, sorry to be a bitter bitch, and I know you don't like discussing these things, but I'm truly curious about you hold these two ideas in your mind--pro-life and pro-suicide.
