So pretty. I especially love your use of color in these. The 'Ten of Cups' one appears to have a couple familiar people in it... maybe.

Thank you, doll. ^^

I wanted the people around the Ten of Cups to not represent anyone (thus the backs of heads), but that got really hard, so I decided I'd have my "signature" at the other head of the table (note the moles).

I thought she looked like you (not just because of the moles...):D The lady to your right looks scarily like Kristen, imo--even her posture is balls-on-accurate; and the guy two seats from your left looks kind of Jonnish (he's even toasting with his left hand). The guy next to 'Kristen' reminds me of Denis, too. The way his eye is squinted, his cheek is bunched, and his chin is pointed inwards sort of makes it look like he's laughing at a dirty joke, or something. It just seems Denisey.

I think I'm in desperate need of a life.

Damn, you make it sound like I can almost draw our characters-- and like that picture is far more interesting than it is! Bless you. ^^

Honey, if I had a life, I wouldn't know what to do with it.

You're really good at drawing people's likenesses. I mean, I seriously cannot get over how much that girl looks like Kristen. Her hair (especially since it's been growing out), the way she's sitting, and the way she's holding her glass--I wouldn't notice these things about her, normally, but seeing them drawn it's like, OMG IT'S HER!

Yeah, lives are overrated.

Okay, INTENTIONALLY drawing people's likenesses. These were random people (save for the be-moled chick on the end) who weren't supposed to be anybody (thus the lack of faces). I'm thinking if I approach drawing likenesses from now on as though I'm not trying to do just that, I might actually have success. ;^)
