Saw this on Feministing and seeing the comments, I was given an excellent reminder of why I follow Feministing by Twitter and not by actually visiting the comment area. Ew.

I think I adore this little group. Beats the hell out of Miley Cyrus and the rest of the "tween" nonsense.

Guuuuh. I've only been subscribed to Feministing's Tweets for a bit (there is a really inappropriate joke here), but some of the people there are hypersensitive, in my opinion. Or go for the wrong thing (or maybe my opinion's just that different).

Rambling? That certainly is more articulate than I'm feeling at the moment. And they went after Jon? JStew? The only thing I could say was, "Nu-UH!"

You'll notice I didn't STFU either. ;^) Oh, folly!
And Jon's a feminist, that's part of why he's so goddamn sexy. And part of why he's God, of course. Ollie, too.

It seems like the founder of the site (Jessica Valenti) has these witty and sharp observations that tend to get polluted by dickbags that wander in to start shit, enjoy their victim complexes, and claim it as "debate" since it took place on a feminist site.
I especially love the extra smarmy "I don't watch television". YEAH THAT'S WHY YOU'RE COMMENTING ON A TV SHOW, YOU ASSHOLE.

Ahem. But yeah, ain't nobody goin' try and step when it comes to J-Stew.
