Literary Adventures

Good evening, everybody! Me again! It has been over a month since the last time I touched this blog. I loooove blogging and I feel guilty for cheating on this blog with some other blog. It is, though, some kind of fashion blog as I am recently interested in fashion and the like thanks to certain influences *coughmysistercough* Thought of abandoning this one too but I don't have the heart to do it. So...hello, again!

BOOKS
Here to share another literary adventure with all of you and other things I'd like to mumble about. My recent discovery is this wonderfully curious piece of work by none other than our beloved Neil Gaiman! He is but a perfect gentlemen for such fantastical words.

Of course, the stories themselves were conjured up by different authors, many of which include the mighty and imaginative Jodi Picoult. What more could a reader of both fantasy and down-to-earth reader ask for from a book? Can't wait to read it all the way through since the first few stories leaving me thirsty for more epic tales! The perfect part of this book is...not only are the stories rather tasty, but the cover of the book leaves you asking questions and hungry for the book. Lovely trick, indeed!

CINEMA
Now for some film reviews. All right, I suggest all of you to seriously watch Like Crazy! My favourite Sundance Film yet! It tells a simple story of a boy and a girl who are in love. But, of course, what kind of film doesn't have a twist? It just so happens that the guy is from the USA while the girl is from England. Long story short, deportation set them apart. Not for everybody but I adore it so! ♥ Oh! And Albatross is also top notch! A story of girl who comes from a completely broken family and somehow ruins her best friend's. It is quite a touching story, personally. I love the friendship of Beth and Emelia!

Yes! Both these movies have Felicity Jones in them! But can you blame me for loving her? Her acting is off the chart and her childlike features are just so innocent, it's almost adorable! I wanted to watch Blue Valentine as well but I got bored the first few minutes of watching it...so sorry, Felicity! Instead, I ended up watching All Good Things which stars Ryan Gosling along with Kirsten Dunst. A real intense american movie! The most terrifying part is: it's based on true events! Oh, and there's also Frank Langella, which has always been my favourite antagonist actor of all time!

Okay then, it's turning into Wednesday over here! Have a good one, everybody! See ya!
