It's never too late for a Public Service Announcement, right?
A few reminders since cold and flu season is coming:
• Since the weather is getting colder, please wear the appropriate clothing when going outside. Bundle up when it's cold.
• Cover your mouths when sneezing or coughing. For one, it's rude if you don't. For another, it's for simple hygiene purposes. Wash you hands afterward as well.
• Also, when washing your hands, do it frequently and thoroughly.
• Taking some Vitamin C doesn't hurt either. It can help keep your immune system strong, which helps prevent you from catching something.
• If you do happen to catch a cold, there is over-the-counter medication available for purchase at the pharmacies that may help.
Recently, the hospital has been a little busier than normal, but it's expected. We've only seen simple cold symptoms, and they can be treated using over-the-counter medicine found in the pharmacies around the city. Though, if you happen to contract a fever along with your cold symptoms, please don't hesitate to come into the clinic just as a precaution. You never know, it may be something more.
Other than that... have a great day everyone!
[ooc: The hospital has been a little busier than usual. So far, everything has been diagnosed as the simple rhinovirus. So, nothing to worry about!]
