[ For anyone who has been here for a while, the communicator turning itself on and staying on can only mean one thing. The Doctor is ready to talk. At first the communicator just shows a plain warehouse room from the looks of it, and a small wave of smoke floating up in front of the screen. There is a faint snap in the area, and the device starts panning around, left to right. It also seems to zoom out, so more of the area can be seen. Slowly, a lax body is seen on the floor, skin discolored and lifeless. Anyone who recognized the face, through the swelled body and discoloration, knew her to be Nurse Cassidy. The Doctor's daughter.
The screen stays on her body, and even zooms in a bit. Meant to scare? Most definitely.
After what seems like ages, the screen zooms out again and goes to the right. And there is a robot of sorts. It is caught completely on fire, the culprit of the smoke finally discovered.
Slowly, heels click on the cement floor and the video brings the screen up, The Doctor coming to view. ]
As you can tell, all death is permanent.
